Weekly photos from 19 to 25 of May 2014

Don’t be mad!!! I know I promised the post about skin care and it’s already made. However there is a perfectly good explanation (in my opinion) for my blog neglect this past week! I posted on my social networks already and I will explain it today on my weekly photos post.

Twas a rainy and wintery week. Wool sweaters, wool jackets even my tartan wool scarves! And the pictures doesn’t even show how bad it turned out to be. At least I have some nice food photos to cheer up the bad mood. Delicious apricots! They were so sweet! The 5 kilos did not last an entire week for three people… the whole box was full when we bought them at the Cascais market.  Then we have Friday’s lunch! Fried flounder fish with cockle rice!!!! Fried food is something we try to avoid, but I’m sure once it’s ok, since they weren’t greasy and I actually ate a proper meal in months. So delicious!

And the two bottom photos! The very good reason why blog (and a lot of other things) got left to second plan. Around here people have been going crazy over this, from little kids (supposedly the target of this toy) to many adults: Rainbow Loom! Check the link but I’m sure many of you already know it since things here arrive extremely late.
So far I have 11 rings and three bracelets. It’s really fun to make and create designs and I finally have rings that actually fit my fingers properly and bracelets that fit my wrist without falling!!!!! Endless possibilities and you can beads and charms and do whatever you want. Call me crazy and childish but I don’t care, I enjoy it a lot. And I know that a lot of my lovely followers would do wonders with these rubber bands!

I promise I will post about my skin care routine this week!!!

Fiquem bem! Até ao meu próximo post!
Xana

Take care! See you on my next post!

  24. Oooh! Those loops. Recently I see my friends posting on Facebook. This mummy was helping her daughter to make pandas and pigs and she said it is no mean feat.

I hope that the cold blows away soon.
